Leader Hosts 2007 Blue Chip Economic Forecast Leader’s audio & web services help make the Chamber’s event a success COLUMBUS (January 8, 2007) - Leader Technologies Incorporated, a provider of voice, video and data communications applications, provided the audio and web conferencing services for the 2007 Blue Chip Economic Forecast presented on Wednesday, January 3rd, by Columbus Chamber of Commerce economist Bill LaFayette, Ph.D. Leader’s audio service, LeaderPhone®, enabled the Chamber’s select Blue Chip participants to dial a toll-free number and enter a 6-digit PIN. After an intro by Director of Economic Development Chaz Freutel, Dr. LaFayette presented his forecast to the participants, including a Leader-enabled slide presentation from a special location on the Chamber’s web site. At the end of his presentation, Dr. LaFayette opened the presentation for a question and answer session also facilitated by the Leader moderator. The participants were able to control their volume, mute and unmute individually. LeaderPhone® digitally recorded the presentation which can be found on the Chamber website. “This service is similar to the one we provided to the State of Louisiana for their statewide Hurricane Katrina disaster response," said Mike McKibben, chairman and founder of Leader. “Just on a smaller scale.” Chamber investors who were invited to participate commented on how easy and seamless the call was, thanks to Leader’s technology. Kim Phillips, the Chamber’s Marketing Manger, said: “The Leader team did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anyone looking for audio and web conferencing services.” * * * About Leader Technologies® About the Columbus Chamber |
